Welcome

My name is Danielle Blunden and I am proud to say I am an autism advocate and neurodiversity education consultant.
I have spent the majority of my professional career supporting and teaching young people on the autism spectrum in a variety of settings. Providing specialist advocacy and support that has enabled children and young people to build their self-confidence, resilience and develop strategies to help empower them in their education setting and future goals and aspirations.

I believe in practical strategies and reasonable adjustments that make a world of difference and have a significant positive impact on children and young people's lives.

Autism is my biggest passion and I've spent the last fifteen years inspired by so many children, young people and adults on the autism spectrum. I believe we need to make the ‘neurotypical world; more understanding and accepting that differences are what we need.
Everyone’s brains are wired differently, and in an increasingly competitive world, difference in the way we think, and innovative ideas is what we need. We should all be able to stop masking our differences but instead unleash the power of Neurodiversity and differences.

Welcome to our Advantage Autism. Our parents and students benefit from actively participating in conversations with teaching experts and fellow users who are passionate about Autism or early into their journey. We’d love for you to get involved and contribute.
